So one random snowy day me and Berto decide to hit up the mountain. With nothing but a Honda Civic and shovel for back up, we drove got stuck pushed and drove again to our final destination. Here are some go pro shots of that day
3rd times the charm! Finally got to spend the day here hitting every section of this road one at a time. And yea it was as awesome as I thought it would be All thats left now is get better and hit it again! Here are a few photos and a rough cut of the footage from the runs. Enjoy!
This is another awesome spot. A big park with a long wide road that does one giant lap. Side roads, bike paths, parking lots, even a lake run. This is by far the best spot to learn at, and its always a good time… Here are a few shots of the roads.
Ok so I had already written this post when I remembered a video me and my friend put together from the early days of riding. With only one board, home-made slide gloves, a GoPro, and an awesome Mega Man soundtrack, I will open this post with “Grown men skateboarding”.
And now the original post:
From the beginning there was a lot of solo riding. All was good though since the moment I get on a board the entire neighborhood becomes one giant playground. Free to go where ever you want with no specific destination. This is part of what longboarding is all about. Freedom.
Soon enough, friends started to join. Boards or bikes, it didn’t matter. The only mission was to go on an adventure together, have fun, and feel like a kid again.
And thats it for now! Not everyone that joined me on my early adventures is on this post, but I will try my best to dig up the media and update!
